Advanced DOE Workshop
Individuals who are familiar with principles of Experimental Design, and/or who have taken the
Introduction to Design of Experiments Workshop - have an opportunity to revisit the real case study examples in the workshop - and practice and learn about the new and advanced analysis tools available. This is a hands-on workshop, where participants practice designing and analyzing experiments, and interpreting and summarizing the results of the experiments.
Participants may practice analysis using calculators,
spreadsheets, and software for designing and analysing experiments (using
STATISTICA,
Minitab, or
Design-Expert).
Individuals are encouraged to bring copies of their own designed experiments for analysis, discussion and interpretation.
Suggested participants:
Topics include:
- simultaneous optimization of several responses;
- development and assessment of various multiple regression models;
- design and analysis of mixture experiments;
- dealing with incomplete experiments (missing runs);
Each participant receives a Design of Experiments Workbook with examples, an Excel workbook
for design and analysis of factorial and fractional factorial experiments, and 1 Recertification
Unit for completion of this workshop.
